Food is basic simple Mexican food- nothing fancy yet delicious. Everything I have tried has been good except for the fajitas, they were the grilled meat and bits of bacon and some small pieces of sliced onions. No bell peppers or tomatoes which is the usual way I've seen them made and they lacked seasoning and didn't come with guacamole or sour cream. I have always had great service except for one incident where we couldn't get our server attention no matter how we tried, she was too busy making small talk with some at another table even though we could see her looking at us she then decided to make her way to the kitchen and started talking to customers at the order window while we kept waving at her. Ambiance is typical diner cafe style. Despite my previous experience it is still one of my favorite places.

I always go for breakfast , the Chile Colorado is far and away my preference . It is the best in Fresno. A couple of eggs Sunnyside up, beans, flour, or corn tortillas makes me a happy camper. The place has very limited seating, and I rarely am seated right away, but I don't mind.

Let's dive into the wild world of Country Fare Cafe, where the entrance is so mysterious, it's like finding Narnia through a wardrobe. So, picture this: You sneak in through a side door like a secret agent, turn left down a dimly lit hallway, and suddenly, BAM! You're in the dining room. It's like the restaurant version of Platform 9¾. The staff here are buzzing around, serving everyone. No designated waiter, just a tag team of friendly faces. They're like, "You want a menu? Boom! Here it is. Sit anywhere, darling!" Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show--the food! I ordered the legendary 3-item combo: beef Tamale, taco, and enchilada. Brace yourself, because this is where the magic happens: 1. Beef Tamale: Imagine a corn husk wrapped gift from the culinary gods. Tender beef, perfectly spiced, and that sauce? Oh, honey, it's like angels tap-dancing on your tongue. 2. Taco: Crispy shell, juicy meat, and a sprinkle of sass. It's like the taco whispered, "Hey, girl, you deserve this." 3. Enchilada: Rolled up like a cozy Mexican blanket, smothered in sauce. It's like a warm hug from your abuela. Hold onto your sombrero, because this is the plot twist: All this deliciousness for under $11! It's like they're saying, "Here's a feast, and also, here's some change for your next adventure. In summary, Country Fare Cafe is like that quirky friend who wears mismatched socks and tells the best stories. It's not fancy, but it's got heart. So, grab your sarcasm hat, waltz in through the secret door, and let your taste buds salsa dance.
